USO Chrome Extension for Webapps
The main purpose of this extension is to provide convenience and security to users in an enterprise by automatically filling in their user ID and password for target applications. Users no longer need to remember multiple passwords for different applications as their application passwords are securely stored in a central database.
To use this extension, users need to authenticate themselves to the server using various authentication methods such as passwords, OTP, or biometrics. The extension then detects the active application login screen and matches it with the list of entitled applications configured by the administrator. If a match is found, the extension retrieves the user's application ID and password from the central database and automatically logs them in.
It is important to note that this extension currently does not support "Custom Behavior using JavaScript" in the USO Trainer, but it is expected to be supported in the future. Additionally, for Single Sign On into Windows native apps, users need to uninstall this extension and install the "USO Chrome Extension" instead. Single Sign On into MacOS and Linux native apps is not supported.
Overall, the USO Chrome Extension for webapps provides a convenient and secure solution for enterprise users to easily log in to web applications without the need to remember multiple passwords.
